Do you smell popcorn? Mmm, warm, buttery popcorn? Amazing popcorn! Its tantalizing aroma can prompt us to nibble even if we aren’t hungry. It can trigger memories and help us change our internal state.
I had been pondering what I might write for December’s issue of the Magic Happens, not really having a clear idea of what I might say. there as quite a bit that was shifting, or had shifted, in my life and my business, and that had really taken up much of my brain space and creativity. As I sat in meditation one evening in November, these are the words that came….
Tick-tock. Tick-tock The proverbial clock keeps ticking. The hands of time going around and around. They say that time is an illusion, and perhaps that is so, but here in this place, it is how we measure many aspects of life. How much time will it take? How did you spend your time today? How long is one’s life?
They say that if you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything. Although that’s not really true, it feels that way when your health is struggling. Perhaps it is more accurate to say that your health affects every aspect of your life.
You know what it’s like when you get that spark… the one that opens up the gate of inspiration. You step into a place of what seems like endless flow. When in a moment, you have a flash of brilliance, a surge of powerful emotion, and the energy of creation. What if?
I don’t know why time is the way it is. Some say that time is moving faster than it used to because of the shift humanity is going through. Some say time is an illusion and that everything that was ever was, instantaneously happened in a moment, that really there is only one moment – NOW.

He discovered how our thoughts, emotions and the energy we broadcast can influence the shape of the water’s molecule. How even the music we listen to can affect it… And we are 70% water!!
Have you ever given a gift because you felt obligated? We live with so many expectations, both our own and from others. Yet if you have ever received a gift that touched your heart, you know how delicious that feels.
Can you imagine what it would be like to be the last of your people? That once you die, the culture, traditions and lineage of your people would cease to be? .

The mind is an amazing thing. Like your very own super computer, it handles millions of tasks every moment. Besides keeping your body alive and functioning, it’s the tool that allows you to think all those thoughts you think every day. It remembers and retrieves them too. It perceives and judges your environment and your experiences, and helps you formulate your ideas of the world and yourself into beliefs.

How many times have you told yourself another person was better, stronger, wiser, prettier, more gifted, more spiritual… more anything? Comparing in this way corrupts your self image, and paves the way to developing negative perspectives not only about yourself and others, but on life itself. It can breed fear, anger, jealousy and self hatred… or arrogance depending on where you stand in your mental image.
Breath – it gives life or it takes life away…. To your physical body or to a project, an idea, your creative endeavours or any stagnant aspect of your life. It always brings new energy and possibility for Life to express itself.
