Operation Santa Paws – by Annette Rochelle Aben

As you are putting together your shopping lists for this meal and that function, for this person and that family, here is another “family” to consider. Your local animal shelters. That’s right because 2017 is the 16th year for a project known as Operation Santa Paws. http://www.hautedogs.org/santapaws.html (pronounced  Hot Dogs, how cute is that) Originally started by Jason Rudd, in California, this auspicious time was designated to “gift” the shelters as well as the workers in honor of Christmas itself.  The campaign runs from December 1st – December 24th each year.

The Clock Time Conundrum – by Moon Laramie

.
Sometimes, I find myself rushing through parts of my day. I rush to get ready. I rush to finish an email. I rush to get to an appointment. The reason is simple, I look at my watch and I realise I am short of time. I feel pressured to rush. My hurry is instigated by the simple act of looking at my watch. This predicament was perhaps best described by Jane Austen, ‘Do not attack me with your watch. A watch is always too fast or too slow. I cannot be dictated to by a watch.’ Yet modern society is so structured around clock time that trying to exist without it would be highly problematic.

.
I’m so excited about this new Akashic Records process I recently received from the Records, that I’m gifting it now with my love to all who read or listen to this article. That’s right – you won’t have to wait till the December holidays for this special gift!
.
If you initiate and then regularly nurture this Akashic process with your attention, I know your Divine Diamond will support and enhance whatever you direct it towards. Know, that you can access your Records for this or simply engage with your intuition. Either will work!
.
The purpose of this process is to surround you and your project with Divine Support. You and your most significant goal, project, intention, etc. are centered in the middle of this powerful symbol. Each of the four points of the diamond carries the energy of a Deity, Highest Being of Light, Ascended Master, Archangel, Mythical Hero/Heroine, Element, and/or Overlighting Deva, etc. These four Sacred Beings have come now to accompany you on your earth walk to assist you to achieve your stated purpose with grace and ease. You may see them, feel their presence, hear their names, or just know who steps up to each point as you go through this process.
.
.
There are four simple parts to this process and I’ll walk you through each one now. If you like, you can read through this and then listen to the recording, pausing when appropriate.

Love of Clocks Inherited From My Mother – by Marie Pollnow

I love clocks.  I take after my mother that way.  She was absolutely obsessed with clocks.  She was very mechanical and could take apart a wind up clock and put it back together.  It was cool.  She had more mechanical ability than my Dad.  Who said women can’t fix things?  Hickory, Dickory, Dock. The mouse went up the clock.  There are so many stories revolving around clocks in fact we have revered clocks for centuries.  They have been at the center of movie plots and built anticipation on many occasions.  As a young person my home was full of clocks.  I still love them.

No Time But the Present – by Annette Rochelle Aben

I recently received word that a dear friend of mine was in trouble. It seems she has been named in a lawsuit alleging that she contributed to the untimely death of a mutual friend of ours. Of course, this news rocked my world and I can only imagine what it was doing to her and her family. As of this writing, that is all I know for sure, but I am aware this is only the beginning of what will prove to be her darkest night of the soul.

Emotional W.I.N.G.S. – by Nancy Zimmerman

You can listen to an audio version of this article, look further down.
.
.
When beginning this essay, I was not certain where to turn.  I have been using acronyms quite frequently and enjoy them.  As I looked at the themes and saw “wings” I was immediately drawn to the freedom I felt as I pictured me with wings flying high above the hustle and bustle of life on the ground.  I felt this might make an interesting essay but as I looked at the letters, there were not emotions or feelings that came to mind.
.
After doing some research, I did come up with some ideas that I am going to share with you about W.I.N.G.S.
.
W –   I found not only emotions but also adjectives that describe feelings. One can be warm-hearted or weak.  You can be whimsical or woeful, wonderful or wretched.  The choices are limitless and that is the point of lists like this.  Each of the descriptive adjectives brings forth a feeling based on what we associate with that particular word.  As a person who traverses through life daily, we can choose to be whatever we want.  We can choose to be wicked, wishy washy or worthless.  If that is the case then we can also choose to be wanted, warm or witty.  The choice is ours daily about how we choose to describe ourselves.  However we describe ourselves is how we act and who we become.
.
I – Surprisingly, there were about two hundred fifty words or phrases to describe feelings and emotions for the letter “I”.  Some of those included: impure, inspired, ignorant, and interesting.  if you are thought to be impure or ignorant, you will certainly behave and react to others differently than if you are said to be inspired and interesting.  We choose how we portray ourselves and we choose how we perceive others.  If we look for the positive aspects of all individuals we meet, we can elevate them to a higher place.  If we take negative descriptive words out of our vocabulary when it comes to describing others, they will not know the disappointment of being treated less than valuable.
.
N – Thinking about the entire word, wings, I think of phrases like “flying with eagles.”  This being the case, the one word that resonates with me at this “letter level” is “noble.”  As we soar with the eagles, we are indeed expressing the most noble of our characteristics.  There may be times when we are down grubbing for the earthworms and have less than noble intentions, however.  The nobility of the eagle is one that inspires awe and respect among us all.  In our effort to soar we need to remember the importance of nobility as we are called on to exhibit it.
.
G – As I soar with the eagles on wing, I think that gallant and grateful apply.  I also like to think I am good-natured to add to that list.  As we near the end of this essay, I once again remind you of the word– wing– a word whose very nature calls us to think of the birds and the freedom that their wings allow them in life.  Whether it is an eagle or a cardinal, it is in the very lift of the wings that freedom is expressed.  They are also very graceful as they embrace the world.
.
S – Wow!  Just Wow!  Over four hundred words to describe feelings and emotions with the letter S.  They go from sluggish to strong and from subjugated to stupendous.  As this essay has attempted to help you see, you are what you focus on.  You are how you perceive yourself.  How others see you is based on how you see yourself.  It is all up to you.  If you want to  become something more than you are, you cannot do it while giving yourself the same messages over and over.  You need to find new words to describe you and a new story to tell.  Tell your life in positive terms.  Feel the words and become the words.  Make them the very best description of you that you can and the evidence of that belief will become clear.

Giving Thanks for November Memories – by Annette Rochelle Aben

As a child, in our home, November always brought great excitement. There was a great holiday feast, for which to prepare. On Thanksgiving Day, itself, downtown Detroit, held their magnificent Santa parade to welcome the jolly elf to our fair City. There were floats and music, balloons and lots of excited children there with their fathers while their mothers stayed home to start the dinner. We’d shiver in our winter togs, holding steaming cups of hot chocolate and feeling our little faces freeze bright red. It only got better when we would put up our Christmas tree, the day after Thanksgiving!  Ah yes, December may be the month of Christmas but for us, November was the start of it all!

Clock Wise or Counterpart Reading Time – by Rhea Dopmeijer

You can listen to an audio version of this article, look further down.
.
We are so used and trained to read the time which starts already in our childhood. Who doesn’t remember, as a 4 or 5 year old, we learned to read a clock. Either the digital for the younger generation, or the clock with the numbers 1 to 12. Not just learning the numbers, all the spaces between them, the minutes in an hour. Time was measured, divided in pieces to make it understandable.
.
A linear way of measuring, so to speak, and the world got divided in time zones. Measured by the Sun and its journey, as we experience it in our reality. At one point in time these zones were set and regarded as a world clock to enable humanity to stay in touch with each other. In ancient times there was no such thing as a clock, nor did our ancestors needed one.
.
Progression or evolution is debatable for a lot of scientists.
.
Exploring the way we sometimes have one day short in a month, as we are accustomed to in the western world. Every culture had their own way of measuring time and dates. It depended on religion as well science when the new year would start. The more we got connected through the use of telex and telephone, the importance of adjusting to the different time zones became more important. Businesses were conducted within the different time zones. Some were going back in time, others forward. How effects this the global awareness as well our own awareness. Who is still able to work freely with time, because of the alignment with the inner sense of time..
.

Sometimes, I feel time stands still and other times I have trouble to follow the speed it seems to take. Probably because of all the events that are taking place simultaneously all over our planet that creates this kind of confusion. Living in different time zones makes it almost impossible to wrap your head around it.
.
Especially when all electricity has been damaging the systems as well the internet and phone. Which makes communication even harder to reach each other over the world. A lot of people are travelling around the globe to find a new job, visit family or just having a holiday planned. It makes it so clear how much we are depending on the clock and time span we live in.

Creating Realities Beyond Time and Space – by Patty Paul

One summer’s day in 2015 I decided embark on meditative journey that would help me experience a state of being far beyond the limitations of time and space that exist in our three-dimensional physical plane. More specifically, I wanted to move beyond the matrix of our current paradigm, with its principles of chauvinism that seek domination over and create separation in our “It’s either them or me, dog-eat-dog, survival-of-the-fittest” world.  Knowing that such utopian realities already exist in the realms multi-dimensional unconscious, where all things are happening “now,” I wanted to feel my energies blending with those in a brand new paradigm.

Strengthen Your Wings and Soar! – by Shuddhaanandaa Brahmachari

Every struggle we go through is only to strengthen our wings so that we can achieve the purpose for which the Higher Intelligence has brought us to this earthly plane of consciousness. Our greatest obstacles and pains are nature’s way to prepare us for our greatest good. A little baby bird tries with all its might to free itself from its shell, and sometimes makes a long struggle. This struggle, although difficult for a human to watch without helping, is absolutely necessary for the young bird’s physical health and future growth! Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been. We could never fly.
