Louise L. Hay The Eternal Light – by Annette Rochelle Aben

On August 30, 2017, Louise L. Hay made her transition from the physical world into spirit. To many, this will mean nothing, for some, this will take their breath away as they saw Louise a guru. For me, this is bittersweet news as I believe Louise Hay lived as there was no such thing as death; death of the spirit that is.  The only thing that could harm our spiritual selves, would be ourselves. She found that by using love to bolster our energy, we could free our spirits to soar! So, the woman who shared the story of her embattled physical existence though her writings, most notably, You Can Heal Your Life, carries on her enthusiastic work unencumbered by a physical body.

Lighten Up in September – by Annette Rochelle Aben

Let’s see, 30 days hath September, right? Of course, and that means there are 30 days for you to embrace a wonderful opportunity.  Take each of the days of September and free yourself of something you no longer require. This could mean something physical such as clothing you no longer wear or jewelry that has been hanging around the jewelry box but hasn’t seen the light of day in ages. This could also be something intangible such as a worry or emotional attachment that seems to leave you more distressed than happy. Naturally, the last suggestion may be a bit harder to accomplish but it is possible.

Why would you want to do this, using September as a month of pitching and purging? Why not? No time like the present. You have been ripping and running throughout the summer. In and out of your vehicle, office, home and possibly even a vacation spot. The focus has been more on the task at hand be it work or fun, so who has had time to manage the “up keep” of your surroundings?  We’ve got lots of holidays on the horizon, which means loads of things to accomplish during those times, leaving very little time for much else.

Seeds of Strength – by Annette Rochelle Aben

Ever watch someone struggle with a decision? They aren’t sure how they’ll get through their ordeal or what choices to make, so it appears they are standing still. It looks, all the world, like they are in denial or are zoning out instead of taking appropriate action. Yet, I tell you, there is something magical going on inside of them, something so powerful that once we see it, we will be enchanted.

Hands and Health, a significant connection – by Rhea Dopmeijer

Hands and Health combined in a topic to bring in some clarity about the significant connection between the both of them. We are holding so much energy in our hands, using this for comforting, soothing, calming, healing as well. You know, when you were a little kid and you feel, your mother automatically was striking your hair, sweeping the tears from your face, feeling the sore spot. We all do this instinctively. The first impulse when someone is hurt in any way, we feel the need to hold them, stroke their back in comfort, or just put your hands on their head, in a wonderful healing intention. Mostly unconscious, for others more conscious.

The Way of Hermes: A Review by Hercules Invictus

I just finished re-reading The Way of Hermes, a new translation of The Corpus Hermeticum and The Definitions of Hermes Trismegistus to Asclepius published by Inner Traditions. Perhaps that’s not an accurate way of describing my journey between the covers. For one does not just read tah Hermetika, one puzzles over and meditates on these writings, slowly extracting meanings, or one is occasionally rewarded with flashes of insight by the Thrice Great Hermes himself.Hermes is an Olympian Archangel and a Psychopomp. In the Abrahamic traditions he is known as Enoch, Idris and Metatron. One seeks and finds the Hermetic literature (or it seeks and finds them), incarnation after incarnation, until illumination is reached. And one recognizes it when it crosses one’s path. Then one starts remembering…

Health on All Levels – by Linda Lang

They say that if you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything.  Although that’s not really true, it feels that way when your health is struggling. Perhaps it is more accurate to say that your health affects every aspect of your life.

A Zen Hoofprint – by Bob Rush

I am troubled. As many of you know, I am trying to relocate down to central Virginia. I fell in love with the City of Charlottesville and can’t wait to get there. The city is vibrant with a gorgeous pedestrian mall, great eateries, book stores (imagine that) music venues, theaters and the like. In the evenings the pedestrian mall comes alive. Its a giggle to just sit and watch humanity.

Health, Longevity; & Folks in Their 90s – by Patty Paul

In early 1991 I began contacting up-scale retirement homes…the kind that offered their residents amenities that included lectures by paid speakers…because I had a burning desire to share some of the life-changing information about health and longevity that I had gained so far on my metaphysical journey. My intuition told me that seniors would be the ideal audience to start with, as I’d never before spoken in public.  Guided by that inner voice I was able to book engagements at every place I contacted.  I was so grateful for that.

The human body as we each perceive it exists on the solid physical plane. Surrounding this physical body is the etheric body. This is the vehicle of vitality and energy. If the flow of energy becomes blocked, there is a negative impact on the physical body. The practice of Reiki can help release blockages in the etheric body.

Creating tomorrow with your choice now – by Annie Gelfand

A beggar had been sitting by the side of a road for over thirty years. One day a stranger walked by. “Spare some change?” mumbled the beggar, mechanically holding out his baseball cap. “I have nothing to give you, said the stranger. Then he asked: “What’s that you are sitting on?” “Nothing,” replied the beggar. “Just an old box. I have been sitting here on it for as long as I can remember.” “Ever looked inside?” asked the stranger. “No” said the beggar. “What’s the point? There’s nothing inside.” “Have a look inside,” insisted the stranger. The beggar managed to pry open the lid. With astonishment, disbelief and elation, he saw that the the box was filled with gold.

Health Is The Greatest Gift- by Marie Pollnow

Having known what it is like to not have good health, I know what a great gift it is.  It is the greatest gift.  It may be somewhat cliché to say, yet health means so much.  A person can be rolling in money without having good health.  It doesn’t mean much.  I’ve had challenges for a long time now, whatever that is.  Yet being a kid was fairly carefree, yay!
