In January 2001, my mother suffered a stroke from which she never fully recovered. As her condition worsened, she was eventually admitted into a nursing home for round the clock care. In June 2003 her condition rapidly deteriorated. She was no longer able to recognise her family and her body began to shut down. On Wednesday 3 July 2003, the day she died, our family was maintaining a vigil by her bedside. At about 4 p.m. my sister suggested we go back to her home for a rest break. While we were there, a call came through telling us that my mother was slipping away and we should come back immediately. As we raced through narrow country lanes, our car was forced to stop at the traffic lights at an intersection just a few minutes from the nursing home. The sky had darkened considerably since we started the journey and as we waited for the lights to turn green, the heavens opened. Sheets of rain fell from the sky. At that precise moment, with rain pelting the car windscreen, I was gripped by an overwhelming feeling that my mother had died. When we got to the home a few minutes later, we found my father and my other sister coming out of my mother’s room. She had died at the exact moment of my strange intuitive feeling.

When I said I am here for you to speak
The silence was deafening at first.
You were not coming in with big words
Or grand gestures to be known.
It took me time to get comfortable with
The nudges as well the little pushes
That made me aware of what was going on.
Sometimes it is just the line of a song,
Other times a hug from a child unexpectedly
That make me conscious of my own energy
Reflected by the acts of others around me.
Feeling strongly connected with this flow
That makes me write and without any withholding
Letting the words come to the front so to speak.
Like stepping aside in order to let the information
And the energy connect with another well
Deep within myself or with my High Self.
When I have this urge to sit down and write
I know there is something important
That needs to be addressed.
Speaking out loud the messages are another
Dimension that give a deeper meaning to
The messages that are forming itself along the way.
Just a different form yet the importance of sound
Is another way of expressing myself again.
My life is my song, my book to be written
Accordingly the way it enfolds itself.
Attuning to my guidance as well my inner
Knowing or intuition, this deep connected
Essence that is part of me as well.
With each day it will expand and grow,
It will be a force that will find its way
sometimes on paper, yet always in my life
The way I want to communicate and love.
Each page is to be shared I am told,
Each message is to be written
And each time I feel the need to follow
The nudge from within, it is always
Crystal clear and filled with love.
To me that is the barometer of truth.
The love that comes flowing in and through
Are part of my essence as well my integration
With my higher self, the knowing aspect,
On a very realistic and material way.
It materialized my connection with Love
As in Life to be all that I am and can Be.
And so it will be done.

How Important It Is To Reset Your Belief System – by Rhea Dopmeijer

Listening as well reading up a lot of messages these past months about the shifts and changes we are going through as humanity one thing struck me the most. The way our belief system is holding its grasp on us. Now this is not new to me, since I have been working with this for the past 40 years or so. At least on a conscious level that is.

Reset Your Self-Care Routine – by Mindy A. Early

I am an introvert in an extroverted field. Sometimes, instead of networking, I find a quiet hallway where I can do half sun salutations to stretch out my anxiety. During long meetings, I use a trip to the restroom to practice pranayama breathing and recite mantras in the quiet of the stall. While my coworkers may think I’m typing on my phone to fire off a quick email, sometimes I’m doing a free write on a Google.Doc to process a strong emotion. A great self-care plan can certainly take as long as a nature hike, but that plan is useless if we can’t hike until the weekend and we need to decompress right now.

According to the Ageless Wisdom, humans are on an evolutionary path which will lead them to transform into spiritual beings. As part of its metamorphosis, humankind passes through seven stages of development known as root races. The first root race had no physical bodies and manifested only on a subtle vibrational level. Over the aeons the root races gradually developed physical characteristics. These early physical manifestations had no sexual organs and reproduced through fission. As humanity continued to evolve it divided into male and female. Human beings on earth today constitute the fifth root race of the human life wave.

God
is the most misunderstood and misconceived word or notion in the world. As such there is no word in the dictionary that can ever unravel the mystery that surrounds this one word, God . How can we define that which is unknowable? All religious conflicts around the world are born from this basic flaw of trying to define or explain the One who is beyond definition, explanation, or any verbal utterance.

Mercedes de Acosta
was a Spanish-American poet born in New York City on 1 March, 1893. Apart from publishing three volumes of poetry, she also wrote a novel and numerous stage plays. Mercedes saw herself as a spiritual explorer. She studied Theosophy and followed the teachings of the Indian mystic, Ramana Maharshi. He was considered to be an avatar, an incarnation of a deity on earth. He encouraged her to develop God Realisation, to see the divine in all things. She practised yoga, studied astrology and believed in reincarnation. She was a friend of the poet Kahlil Gibran, who introduced her to the mystical Hindu texts of the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita. Mercedes is perhaps best known as the lover and confidante of the Hollywood actress, Greta Garbo. But Mercedes was much more than Garbo’s intimate, she was her spiritual guide, steering her on a journey to the heart of the ancient eastern traditions. As they sat together one night on a mountain top in Casa del Mare, Mercedes revealed the secrets of the Ageless Wisdom to Greta Garbo. They remained there the whole night, talking about karma, the origins of the universe and the destiny of humanity.
