Show the world your ART!
October is National Arts and Humanities Month and has been since 1993. This is the largest celebration for the arts and humanities in the nation.
Do you create art? Are you a patron of the arts? Perhaps you are an art whisperer and encourage businesses and organizations to support the arts. If so, this is your time to shine. If not, this is your time to become involved.
Supporting the arts is a role everyone can embrace. Whether as a family, a church, a school or civic organization, providing a unified front in your community will make a world of difference. After all, that in which those around you find excitement, is bound to entice others to join the party.
So, throw a party. Invite a local artist to visit your gathering place where their art can be shown, and people can interact. Sponsor a contest for children to make posters on what being creative means to them. Or simply attend concerts, plays or dance recitals. I’ll just bet there are many other ways you’ll come up with if you give it a thought.

Remember, the more we celebrate art as a humanity, the greater a humanity we become. After all, every heart is filled with ART!
