Walking the walk can mean a lot of different things but it is never passive in nature. In fact, walking the walk is always extremely dynamic; make a decision and then participate – decide then engage – decide then take action.
Walking the walk is simple (though not easy sometimes). JUST DO IT! Don’t spend your energy talking about it unless it gives you more energy. The key to walking the walk is to go do it.
There was a time in my life when I didn’t feel like my body was strong enough. I could have spent my time talking about that with folks or complaining about it, I could have felt sad OR I could start moving.
And here is the important part: I could move from my place of weakness or I could embrace the strength I said I wanted. I could shuffle through small easy movements or I could make big strong movements that challenged me because I didn’t really feel them yet. I had to accept that I was capable of more then I believed I was.
If we want to be stronger, we need to move with more strength by putting in that little bit of extra effort; go a little deeper then is comfortable. And that applies to everything. Anything you want more of, has a movement you must push your limits and engage with your own dreams and desires.
