You are invited! That’s right, YOU are invited to create this moment. You are invited to create this moment to be the best moment of your life thus far.
Bet you never thought you had the power. Bet you never realized that deciding whether or not a moment was good, was under your control. Bet you maybe didn’t consider that your choices in life mattered.
A moment, being good or not, is a choice, a choice of perception. Let me repeat that one, all important word here, PERCEPTION. How we perceive a moment, is exactly the definition of said moment. For if you perceive something as good, you will allow your good feelings, good energies and good actions to follow suit. Conversely, well, you get the idea.
So, in this holy present moment, what do you choose? Do you choose to believe that your life is going well? If so, you will find it easier to become emotionally vested in that good. Then, by default, your energy will get a lift, a good lift. This results in your actions mirroring the good you perceive.
Life is always going on around us and it can be perceived in any way we choose. It is okay to perceive something as not good. For being in a contrary state might be just perfect for you in that moment. You may stay there as long as you like but remember that what will determine the next moment’s value, is YOUR PERCEPTION!
Because life is a myriad of experiences, we will certainly have and need those times when we refuse to believe there is anything good about a particular moment. This doesn’t mean we are failing ourselves, it means we are experiencing contrast. Contrast is a good thing, for it gives us a reason to choose. To choose something other than that which we do not find pleasing is powerful. Finding our power is liberating. Being liberated from feeling victimized by life’s circumstances is humbling. Being humbled by the beauty of our own power builds strong character. The more strength we find within ourselves, the better we see life. The better we see life, determines how our life plays out moment to moment.
