June is the New January – by Annette Rochelle Aben, Editor

While January signifies the beginning of the Gregorian calendar year, there by setting us up for new beginnings, June is no slouch in that department. Many people will wed in June, starting new lives. Many students will graduate from school and find themselves standing on the threshold of a world of possibilities. And there is always that seasonal change thing. Depending upon which hemisphere you reside, you are welcoming either summer or winter this month.

What is it you are looking to begin? Maybe you will take up a new hobby such as photography or water skiing. Perhaps you will redecorate the house or yard. How about that book you’ve been wanting to write? Whatever is speaking to you, this is a great month in which to begin.  June is the new January, so have a go and make it happen!
