First of all, I have a wide array of beliefs on what spirituality is. Spirituality is omnipresent. It is everywhere. t is beautiful. It is joy. It is finding peace. It is allowing healing into your body. Spirituality is a special vibration and it is everywhere. Spirituality can also be found in places we would not think about. It may come in tragedy; 911 comes to mind. It may come in sadness, death or loss. It is always there you must find it.
I love flowers. I prefer to leave flowers in the ground however since I live in a city apartment without a balcony I buy bouquets of flowers. I so enjoy them and talk to them daily. I show them love and they bring me true joy.
One of my recent bouquets was roses. I just love roses. I changed the water daily and told them how beautiful they were and how thankful I was for their presence. My cat seemed to enjoy them too. I put them in a vase in front of the window. Sun washed over them.
I see the spirituality in a flower, in their perfection their scent, their beauty and their tranquility. Just looking at them, brings me peace and joy. Sometimes it seems that they understand my being enamored.
With my yellow rose, it has been wonderful watching him unfold. He is pointing himself to the sun. Yellow roses are especially spectacular. I have always loved them.
Whether in nature or a home bouquet they grace us with vibrancy, or tranquility, joy, solitude, magnificence or hope.
To think that a flower started out being a seed, as so many things. Someone loved it enough to nurture it. As for the wild flowers Mother Earth saw to it they got what they needed to grow and thrive. I think people, babies and animals need this as well.
Flowers are nurturing if you are nurturing to them. Flowers will bloom if you bloom. Flowers are loving if you are. Flowers are generous if you are.
No matter if everything is flowing well or I hit a bump a magnanimous bouquet of flowers always lifts me up. It brightens up my space. It cheers me up and I thank them daily for their gift.
