Tech note – by Peter

First month of 2015 has passed and The Magic Happens online Magazine already had 320.528 visits, and 4.089 different people have read more than 1 article. And we are very close to reaching 2.000 listens on our Radioshow.  How cool is that!  This increased number of hits could push us past 4 million visits this year.  Of course this also puts more pressure on our server provider, and I’m looking into a solution that can handle that amount of traffic … It’s a good feeling that we are expanding.

As this is a free Magazine we would love your support, so please donate if you feel like it. You can do so in our Shop.

This month we have tried out some new page-setups and implemented newer slider systems. And at the end of January everything looked great and much fresher, and then the site crashed 🙁  Ooouch! … and we are back to scratch basicly.

We will, this month, get a redundant server system up running, so that new projects can be tested for some time before launching.

Skjermbilde3Now to The Forum … We have installed a new Forum this month. A Readers Forum will soon be implemented, however, this Forum is for the moment a Writers Community – what that means is that you will have to be a Writer at TMH to enter the community. The purpose of the Forum is to strenghten and support the group of writers connected to the Magazine.

If you know anyone that likes to write or wants to learn how to write then you are welcome to contact Kat here.

Skjermbilde2This is a great opportunity to learn from- and share with other Writers. Kat is working with the new threads for the Writers Community as we speak, and we will announce it when it is complete. Writers can however test it out now.

We have also made it easier to log-in to our site, no more clicking before writing – yay!

Also we have made a 404-error return page now, just in case you forgot to login – in your excitement to get into the new Writers Community, or if a random page-error should occour.

By the way, you can find us at Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and you can get RSS feeds from this site too …

More will follow the next couple of months, so stay tuned!
