As children, I’m sure we all made snowflakes, where you folded paper and cut out the design, of a snowflake. No matter how hard we tried you could never look the same as in nature. No snowflakes are the same. We were often told that as children but what we did not put together is that we are also like snowflakes, we are not the same.
Often, we try to fit the molds that are put in front of us, but as the snowflakes we are, we do not fit.
Many of us we start diets that do not fit our needs. Many of us force ourselves to sleep when our bodies may not naturally want to. We, as humans, think that we must sleep at night, and be up during the day. That is the way it’s been for generations but after some study I found that this is not true. Often as humans we did not sleep eight to ten hours.
What really happened is often would be a nap in the afternoon then sleep for a time. Then we wake up for time to reflect on personal thoughts, write, and spending time together with family, then return to sleep. To wake in the morning to begin their day so this thought that we sleep eight to ten hours, really did not begin to happen until we had electricity and lifestyle changes as humans.
This is part of being a snowflake. It is finding just which point of sleep works for you. In today’s world, we see a surprising number of people needing something to help them sleep. Why? Because it is not natural to our bodies’ natural rhythms. As we are snowflakes, we need to allow our self to form our own sleeping behavior to get the amount, your body needs.
Look at a very wise snowflake Albert Einstein, who only needed to sleep for only three hours at a time. That was all he needed.
Another thing that seems to be independent, is the food our snowflakes need and want. We tend to put our body threw a lot of diets. Many of them fail, affecting our life and our self-esteem. This is because our body are snowflakes. While yes, if you feed your snowflake foods it does not need or want, then you will have issues.
We have, food from around the world and you can almost at any time of the day get anything you want to eat. The problem is, that our snowflakes are not adjusted to this. Each snowflake is designed from clouds that come from a mixture of thousands of foods to form a diet. Therefore, we are having issues with food and accepting ourselves as we are. When you look at your diet you need to look at your heritage and what food was natural threw out the year. If you are from culture that eats lot of veggies and not a lot of meat, then fit your diet to that. The same if you’re from a lot of hunters, then you are going to need to have more meat in your diet and will feel better.
That the main point here is find what makes you feel better and stop comparing yourself to all the other snowflakes floating threw the wind. You are special and the only one like you is you.
Whether you are a big fluffy, fast moving snowflake, or a soft small, slow moving snowflake, with small crystals, you are special and wonderful.
Embrace yourself and ride the winds of change this winter!
