Into the Mystery – by Roger Wyer

There’s mist in mysticism
A foggy darkness
Obscuring a truth we know deeply
There’s ism in mysticism
An old tradition
Passed secretly through generations
There’s Nature in mysticism
A force running underneath
Beyond time and space
Don’t be fooled
By science
Or religious dogma

Go deeper
Into the silence
Into the darkness

Reveal the energy in the spaces
Transmute rocks into love
An alchemist shall you be!

Or start your own tradition
From spiritual knowings
Like Jesus, Buddha, Mohamed

Or hide out in a monastery
Chant, pray, and meditate
Do experiments in the crypt

Connect with unseen worlds
Listen and heal
Find your magic

We’re all mystics really
Collapsing spirit and form
Into one life

About author

This article was written by Roger Wyer

I am a tree. I arrived in a human package this time. I live in the space between plants and people. From this space I can be helpful. I serve as a plant advocate - I am the voice of Nature. I help people create wildly better gardens and connect them with Nature for healing and spiritual growth.
