Talisman of Moonray – by Marie Elena

Moonray, was a crystalline bright soul. Her black eyes shone loudly. Surrounded by evergreen leaves and protective towering trees who watered over her like caring parents. She had been searching for her true power which would bring her love, health, abundance and love. As her cocoa feet hit the damp grass, enjoying the charge she felt, her mind was on fairies and the talisman. You could feel the mist in your nostrils from the dampness. Nearby, curious does peaked over flowers- violet, purple, pink, blue and yellow, to see what Moonray was up to. Her deep and knowing quest for the talisman had permeated her thoughts for a long time. Her Nanna had told her stories of where the Blue Talisman resided. She use to sit on her knees as she was mesmerized by the promise of a new and improved life.

As a third generation witch, who believed in doing no harm, Moonray was well trained in the healing arts and ancient ways. Technically, her earth age was thirty-three and she did not have children birthed by her, yet she considered all children her; in a sense. Her pet cat and familiar, was a gorgeous blank cat named Jupiter. She enjoyed cooking vegetarian meals straight from the ground and concocting new and beneficial herbal remedies. Still her mind was occupied with the Blue Talisman which had been talked of for generations.

As the crunch of leaves and grass collapsed under her feet she felt a pull towards where her ancestors guided her.  Moonray heard the words of her Nanna echo in her ears….”and when you have the talisman in your palms you will feel a warmth and hope will pulse through your veins.”

The only person Moonray had shared this story with was her male friend Genteel. He was a mild mannered middle aged widower who was spiritual and enjoyed the company of animals.  He was a an animal whisperer so to speak.  They had met at a nearby nature path one day and have remained friends since. He was a kindred spirit and a gentleman. His manner matched his silver-blue hair and southern accent.  He saw other realms, as Moonray did.

The Talisman was well known through many generations of Moon’s family as well as a local legend throughout the town of “One Love” which had manifested on the planet O’Star. O’Star was a fairly new planet in the galaxy since the complete destruction of one of the nearby planets, Earth. There were a few refugees who had survived or relocated before the complete devastation.

Over many morning cups of blueberry tea, Moonray and Genteel discussed the plan to extricate the Talisman. It was agreed intuition and help of the ancestors was pivotal if they were to be successful in this plan. They both knew the Blue Talisman did not reside in the physical.

Moonray knew finding the Talisman must remain a secret, because if it fell into the wrong hands it could be detrimental. She did not want a repeat of what happened on earth therefore only she and Genteel knew of their plan.  Secrecy was vital or the safety of O’Star could be in great danger.  It would not remain secret for long.

The treasure map she and Genteel had constructed had come through in dreams, visits from her Nanna, intuition and a good set of markers. It was stashed, at all times, in a nearby tree, next to “Celtic Creek.” To their knowledge no one in the physical or other realms were aware of their plan to attain the Azul Talisman after many generations.  Since they always took great precautions, like white light protection, cutting chords, and speaking to no one.  They were cautious and careful. They were convinced no one knew of their plan. They were wrong.

Enter, Miss. Dark Night. Miss. Dark Night took her job of spreading darkness and chaos seriously.  The planet of O’Star had taken measures to ensure safety of their planet yet sadly Miss. Dark Night had cloaked herself as a caring and upstanding citizen. One of her jobs was of stealing souls. In this scenario she had no intention of letting beautiful Moonray get her hands on the talisman. She wanted to lower the vibration of O’Star and was determined. When she took her vow of secrecy she was serious. Day and night, she thought of ways to hurt Moonray, Genteel and Jupiter. Her ultimate plan was to cause damage to O’Star. Would Moonray be able to thwart her plans? Will anyone find out or stop this dark entity? Will she be held accountable?

As Moonray walked through her luxurious garden she held her lavender with love and took in the fragrance of basil and chamomile. All the while, as she was feeling the ground between her toes she was being watched. She felt somewhat unsettled and was not able to completely embrace her beloved herbs and vegetables.

On her short visit to her friend that afternoon she shared her uneasy feelings.  Genteel took her seriously and validated her fears as real. He was a good friend. He said he was gong to do some checking online as well as tuning up his intuition. All the while, Miss Dark Night was hiding in the bushes nearby as these tow dear friends discussed Moon’s feelings of unease.  Just then Jupiter let out a loud meow, startling everyone.

Genteel was fast in getting to his research. He was certain something was astray and he intended to get to the bottom of it. He knew a dark presence was trying to interfere in the rightful claiming of the sparkly blue talisman. It was the key.

The next day, Moon sat at his kitchen table looking at the map. They had carefully crafted it in color codes and some coded language they both knew. Some vital details had been written in invisible ink and there were places only they knew about. These places existed in the ethers where they had met trustworthy spirits like Ardvan. Ardvan was to guide them to certain areas he knew of where he could protect them.

Moonray had met Ardvan deep in meditation where he had scared her with his appearance. He did not look like the humans she was used to. He had bright blue skin and glowing yellow eyes. She had come to trust him and so far so good.

As they went over their plan to find the talisman it was well plotted and known. The quest was to begin at Sunrise the following Sunday. They were feeling confident, unaware the Dark Night was watching their every move. As they sipped ginger tea all of a sudden a cold breeze hit them both. They gazed at each other with a grip of fear, something felt off.

Moonray decided to get her mind off stressful events. She brought in a large bouquet of lavender and set two bouquets in various places, one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. She sat on her deep purple lounge chair and pet her perfect best friend Jupiter. Just sitting with him calmed her brain as he purred and rested on her lap. The birds outside were singing brightly and the sun brought a comforting warmth. Later on a nice lavender and epsom bath was in order.

The next morning, Moonray woke as the sun shone on her cheek. Jupiter was reminding her it was time for breakfast. She had knots in her stomach and something felt off. Almost like someone had been in her house. The air felt weird. She slowly threw her feet over the bed to rise in a short time. No, someone or something had been in her house. There was no more sleeps until the quest began at the next sunrise.

The map was to be followed in steps and in order. There could be no infiltration as she and Genteel were the only ones who could read the map. She reached for it which she had hidden beneath her pillow. All was well. Once she showered and had her coffee she would look it over once again.

Miss. Dark Night was a little unnerved today as she still had not gotten to the map, even though she had astral traveled through Moonray’s house. It seemed the map had been protected. Ardvan had done his job.

That night, Moonray slept soundly and communicated with spirits in her dreams. Ardvan would meet her in the ethereal just before sunrise. She also set her alarm clock just to be sure for 5 A.M. in the morning.

Beep, beep, beep. The alarm was loud and now was the time. Ardvan met her in the ethereal. She told him she would get dressed and ready to meet him at the door in fifteen minutes.  He concurred, “I will see you at the door.”

She got ready and petted Jupiter good-bye. They met at the door and walked slowly to the oak tree. Meanwhile, across town Genteel was on his second cup of french roast. He was thinking of their plan and was with them in spirit. Because of Moonray’s bloodline, it had to be her that recovered the Azul Talisman. As she and Ardvan walked toward the oak tree she felt the dam grass on her feet and smelled the moss. Ardvan was not physical yet he was right beside her as a guide and protections. As she touched the oak with her hand she sat at the trunk and stared east.  The sun began to peak out and Ardvan guided her to where they needed to go. She held the map. Her eyes slowly closed.

All of a sudden, everything felt warm. Slowly and carefully she opened her charcoal eyes.  What she saw was beautiful, unlike anything she had ever seen. She smelled honeysuckle. There were numerous flowers everywhere that she had never seen, tiger orange, passionate purple, deep ocean blue, blood red, emerald green and more. It was a rich smorgasbord of elixirs. She felt an overwhelming feeling of love and bliss. She was buzzing with excitement and joy. The vibrations were high and she felt a strong feeling of purpose and faith.

She knew that time was of essence even though it did not exist here. Ardvan sat next to her for a few minutes as she took in some of the most beautiful creatures she had ever seen. There was a sweet entity with blue grey fur walking and hopping that resembled a Gremlin. There were butterflies that were gold and silver and there were half snake half reptile creatures slithering around that were multicolored and glowing at ties. It was surreal. It was life-changing. Ardvan’s sunset like eyes looked at her with admiration and was happy to see her joy. He let her sit awhile to take it all in and soon their mission was afoot.

Meanwhile Genteel sat at his kitchen table as the whole room took on a greenish-yellow cast.  He knew he was with Moonray in spirit and he held on tight to the map.  Suddenly the air was so heavy, he almost lost his breath.  Miss. Dark Night loomed over him and had cloaked herself in invincibility. Geenteel felt like his breath was being taken away.  This was because Dark Night had put her spindly fingers around his neck. He could not see her, yet he fought.  He hit her straight in the nose with great force.  She screeched in pain. They tussled and struggled. Neighbor dogs began to bark. Genteel fought for his life. With the map in his hand he ran out of the house as fast as he could.  He went to his secret hiding place, a cave in the woods where he could transport if he needed. He did. He went to a nearby dimension where he was out of harm’s way. Low vibrations could not exist or visit here. Close call.

Ardvan and Moonray were on the near the final step of finding Azul Talisman. They were able to unlock every place that was needed in the ethereal, similar to Akashic Records. There was a slight delay when Dark Night almost changed the fate of O’Star. Fortunately, O’Star and Moonray will remain happy and safe.  As she grasped out to the glowing midnight blue and silver talisman she was deeply in awe, as was Ardvan. They gazed at it for a short time as if they were both in a trance. They both had an overwhelming feeling of love and awe. Just then, Moonray heard her Nanna say, “What took you so long?” It was multi-faceted and reflected many colors and images.  As she grasped it she felt a deep warmth come over her body. She and Ardvan felt such happiness and joy. Ardvan took the map and slowly and carefully led Moonray back to where she was from. She took in the absolute beauty of this place and felt a small bit of sadness come over her. She could hear so many of her ancestors congratulating her on her find.  Now, it was time to take back the dimension and spread light to the galaxy. This was for deep protection and to raise the vibration of the galaxy even higher where low vibration entities could not coexist. Where animals or children were not harmed and there was love and respect for all. Ardvan grabbed her hand and within the speed of light she was back in her home. She would hide the talisman where it was safe and would exist for eternity. She hugged Ardvan, thanked him and in the blink of an eye he was gone but not forever.
