Cats are the most spiritual beings I have ever known. I’ve learned a lot from all of the cats I’ve harbored including my current reincarnate Baby. He comes in the form of a Tabby. What is more spiritual? Cats sleep when they want. They play when they want. Hunt when they want. They know how Spirit works, those lovely creatures.
When I feel sad, my cat will jump around, lie on my lap, cuddle with me and hang out with me until I feel better. That’s spirituality.
Cats have an uncanny ability of doing what feels good to them. They do what suits them for the moment. If they want to sleep, they sleep. If they want to peer out of the window, they peer. If they want to play, they play.
There are so many ways a cat is Spiritual. They are spiritual because they see beyond the veil. I have witnessed this as my cat stares into the air. He sees things. Cats are spiritual because they are intelligent and intuitive. They are spiritual because they are nocturnal. They are spiritual because they are observers. They are spiritual because they are aware. They are spiritual because they follow all natural laws without trying.
I truly enjoy watching cats. I like visiting them at the pet stores. I like visiting them at my friends’ houses. I even say hello to cats looking out of windows. I am an animal person and cats are high on my list. I have witnessed cats heal people. I have seen them cheer up a sad soul. I have seen cats demand attention from people who needed love.
Cats could easily hold many spiritual titles such as Seer, advisor, clairvoyant, fortune teller, and guardian. They can be called upon in emergencies, when you need a friend, or to cuddle with you when the mood hits.
Cats usually go with the flow and they are have their own personalities. Oftentimes they will adjust their schedule to yours and they know your rthym. Many times they will greet you at the door. They know stuff. The kinder you are to your cat the more spiritual your cat will be. They want you to be theirs. It is how they show love. If they follow you everywhere you go this is true connection, and a real spiritual thing.
Cats are worshiped in some cultures and considered godly. Everyday, my cat Baby displays characteristics of godliness to me. Especially when he makes me laugh, which he is good at it. Of course, laughing is close to Spirit and some cats are masters at making it happen. At the end of the day it depends upon what you consider spiritual. I have many connections and definitions of Spirituality. When you are in joy you are in Spirit. Just being near a cat will change the beat of your heart and calmness enters your psyche.
They will pick the strangest times to play yet often they are doing it to make people laugh or simply lift the mood– beautiful creatures really. One must strengthen up the windows to ensure cats do not pummel out of the window to their death chasing a bird. Like I said cats go with the flow, they live life and in the now.
They are able to be alone for periods of time which makes them kind of shaman like. They can entertain themselves to a point. They basically make play from a paper bag, a cardboard box or a cheap little toy mouse. They are highly alert and always share their gifts with you, if you allow it. My cat loves to catch crumpled up paper balls like a football player. He’s a riot.
If you pay close attention to a cat they will teach you so much. I am convinced my cat sees spirits, orbs and faeries–all benevolent. t is amusing. He is observant, he sees and feels things not all see with the naked eye.
My cat is the most true form of Spirit there is, always a pure, innocent and altruistic spirit roaming. My cat has taken on many roles. When I had an embolization surgery over a year ago, I was in a kind of pain I cannot remember. I had an allergic reaction to the pain relievers I was given. So, once they wore off it was torturous. The meds I was given I was allergic to as to most pharmaceuticals–probably because of my blood-type. Note: My embolization blocked off certain large veins to abdomen and groin to starve the fibroids. Back to the point– my cat was my nurse. I could take no more than Tylenol and I had to get through it. He was so nurturing.
Anytime I have had challenges with my matrix job or felt despondent, my nurse kitty was Johnny-on-the-Spot and knew what he needed to do. In kind, I do my best to provide as happy and well-rounded a life for him that I can. I play with him often, I brush him, I sing to him, I cuddle with him and I hug him. I always make sure he has clean water and food. He deserves the best. It is a reciprocal spiritual relationship. I love him,
After watching him watch a bird video on the computer I am once again reminded how truly spiritual and magnificent he really is as all cats are. They are here to help us walk this difficult yet healing earth-land.
